Steve wins Guitar Superstar 09 Contest

On 9/12/09, Guitar Player Magazine held the finals for its Guitar Superstar '09 contest, the centerpiece of the Guitar Player LIVE festival in Livermore Ca. All finalists recieved an all expenses paid trip to the San Francisco Bay Area and the chance to compete for the top spot. Steve had drawn the final playing position, which is ever so great for the nerves. When the smoke cleared and all was said and done, the judges had declared Steve the winner! The judges were Steve Lukather (Toto), Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck Group), Producer Greg Hampton (Lita Ford, Ronnie Wood, The Tubes), Elliot Easton (The Cars) and Earl Slick (John Lennon, David Bowie).
